No prior experience is needed. We welcome complete beginners and will guide you through proper form and technique from your very first session.
Classical Pilates is the original system developed by Joseph Pilates and preserved through the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska. It includes over 500 exercises performed on specialized apparatus — reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, ladder barrel, and mat.
Classical Pilates follows the original exercise order and method as taught by Joseph Pilates. It emphasizes the full system of exercises across all apparatus, rather than modified or contemporary variations.
Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows your instructor to observe your alignment. Grip socks are recommended. Avoid loose or baggy clothing.
We offer private (one-on-one), duet (two clients), and small group sessions. Each format provides personalized attention from a certified instructor.

Yes. We offer a New Client Special — 3 private sessions for $200. This allows you to experience the method and find the right fit.
We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable. No-shows are charged the full session price.
For best results, we recommend 2-3 sessions per week. Joseph Pilates himself said: 'In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, and in 30 you will have a whole new body.'
Yes. Classical Pilates focuses on spinal alignment, core strength, and balanced muscle development — all of which can help alleviate and prevent back pain. Many of our clients come to us specifically for pain management.
Yes, with proper guidance. Our director holds a prenatal and postnatal Pilates certification. We offer modified exercises tailored to each stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Absolutely. Postural alignment is one of the core principles of classical Pilates. Through consistent practice, you will develop greater awareness of your alignment and build the strength to maintain it.
Yes. Our instructors are bilingual in English and Korean. You are welcome to take your session in whichever language is most comfortable for you.
We are located at 120 Sylvan Ave, Suite 104, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632. Free parking is available on site. We serve the greater Bergen County area including Fort Lee, Tenafly, Palisades Park, and Edgewater.
Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Sunday: Closed.
Yes. We offer multi-session packages at discounted rates for private, duet, and group sessions. Packages provide the best value for clients who practice regularly.
We use professional-grade classical Pilates apparatus including the reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, ladder barrel, spine corrector, and mat. Every session utilizes the full range of apparatus as appropriate for your level.
Yes. Our duet sessions are designed for two people to train together. Both participants receive personalized instruction and corrections throughout the session.
We accept Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Credit card payments will be available soon.
With consistent practice, clients typically experience improved posture, reduced pain, greater flexibility, increased core strength, and a deeper awareness of how their body moves. Results vary, but most clients notice meaningful changes within their first month.
